[V8] Odd windshield wipers...or maybe just a cranky old Audi?

Strangely, my 20Valve Avant has decided that it wants to park its windshield
wipers at the 1/2 position in the arc.

I Suppose there is some sort of adjustment, and if I want to stand in the
icy cold that we have now, unload the rear of the car so that I can fish out
my Bentley's it is probably there.

But I am old and cranky about this, so I thought I would throw this out to
the on line brain trust.  

Thoughts?
