[V8] Oil Pressure Sender Unit

Would an oil pressure sender unit (for the dashboard gauge) from another type of Audi be compatible with the one in the V8?

Mine has started to leak (215 000 miles)  and needs replacing......a used one from another Audi such as a 5000 Turbo or 200 Quattro, for example, might be easier to locate....and cheaper, I suppose.
