Look for a gear oil spec that says "GL-5" or "EP".   Should be available as an EP90 or an EP80-90.  The 75-90 you find probably is a synthetic, while the older 90-standard was a dino oil formulation.   The 75-90 should serve as long as it has a GL-5 or EP specification included in the description.  All oil containers have some sort of spec listing.
