My buddy just bought a white/black 93 V8 with 100,000 miles on it . I
went and inspected the car and it was in good condition . The guy wanted
3500 CDN for it and ...drum roll please ... He got it for 1900 usd  !

Still working hard on my 93 V8 , have got the heads redone ( lapped /
new seals all the way around / cleaned up  ) next week going to take the
old trans out and put the new one in.

I suspect that Ed Kellock bought it but so far he is strangely silent.

Yes, yes, yes.  I bid on it.  And I debated bidding again.  But in the
end I let it go because it didn't feel like exactly the right one.

Besides, I have just bought The Old Gray Mare from my Dad.

Now the fleet looks like this:

1992 Ford F150 Flareside 4X4  (aka The Runt)
1998 Chevrolet 3500 dually extended cab pick-up. No personality, no
name.
1990 Audi 100 (aka The Old Gray Mare)
1994 Audi 100CS Quattro Avant (my wife's car:  aka The Green Horney*)

(Now some people might have continued to call this "The Green Hornet".
But you gotta know my wife and her off center sense of humor....)
