[V8] Infamous V8 No Start

I am getting the same kind of frequency as you (3 times in 7 years) and I
KNOW not to start-stop the car. Heck, even the wife has strict instructions
to NOT do it. It just so happened that this one time I was in a time crunch
where I couldn't leave the car running and HAD to pull it in and shut it
off (after pulling it out and shutting it off).

So, I guess I half anticipated it happening, but as usual, hoped for the
best. Of course, the best was not to be found and it wouldn't restart.

I exchanged $12.76 with the fine folks at my FLAPS for a set of 103's and
the car was alive again. Oh well, the NGK's looked bad enough that it was
time for new ones anyway.

As a side note: After seeing the carbon on the plugs I thought this would
be a good time for the infamous suck-it-through-a-vacuum-hose Sea-Foam
treatmeant. First off, I used the larger of the two ports up by the
throttle body and a chunck of 3/8" hose and it sucks it up FAST. The can
says to use a 1/3 of a can....well, it sucked down a 1/2 can before I could
even pull the hose out of the can to check. HOLY SMOKE SHOW BATMAN! WOW! No
mosquito's at my house for a while! :-)

Hmm.  Happened ALL the time at the dealership when the cars came in.   
We routinely would change out the plugs.  I've rarely had it happen  
with any of the v8's.  Maybe 3 times in 11 years and six V8s.  I  
guess I rarely just move them back and forth ;-)  They need to be  
D.R.I.V.E.N

I did just pick up a set of Autolite 103s for the 4.2, though -- just  
'cause fuel went up another 20 cents so far this week...
