[V8] 1990's on eBay

The very nice 1990 V8 on eBay is Mike DelTergo's car in Portland I'm pretty
sure.

The white car has "issues" I think.

I was thinking about the list yesterday as I drove back from the transfer
station behind a new Q7 from "away"....Massachusetts, actually.  The car was
light silver and I followed it down High Street for about a mile in stop and
go traffic.  

My impressions were that it is not a bad looking car from the ass end.
Then, when I pulled along side, I decided that the side view wasn't terrible
also.

Then when I got to pass it, and looked at that awful blunt snout, I decided
that I had NO idea what the attraction could be for something that blunt
ugly.

Later when I got home I went to the new Audi website, which seems to me to
be pretty high tech.  I looked to see what that Q7 might have cost...it was
a 3.6 litre car.  Huh?  NO headlight washers?  NO heated seats?  Not much of
anything except a VERY expensive big metal box with an ugly snout?  

All that and less for a downpayment on a small commercial building?  And
lousy gas mileage to boot.

No thanks.

The next V8 is looking better and better.  I am even back to pondering that
'93 with a gazillion miles in Atlanta, knowing that the entire car could be
disassembled and reconstructed for less than a Q-7.
