[V8] Q7 Attraction ...

... I too am one of those who doesn't get the Q7 ... that said, I did read
in the local paper's auto section on Friday that the Q7 will be one of the
first Audis available here with a diesel engine ... that and the A4.

I don't see myself in either, but as I reported here some time ago, I
happened across an Audi with Michigan Manufacturer plates sitting in traffic
... it was a car in more like an A6 size with a sticker indicating that it
had clean diesel power.  That was the only indication of the fuel being
consumed ...

Later when I got home I went to the new Audi website, which seems to me to
be pretty high tech.  I looked to see what that Q7 might have cost...it was
a 3.6 litre car.  Huh?  NO headlight washers?  NO heated seats?  Not much of
anything except a VERY expensive big metal box with an ugly snout?  

All that and less for a downpayment on a small commercial building?  And
lousy gas mileage to boot.
