My RS6 has the Battery behind the back seat. So I do not believe that the cast of testing would be astronomical. It is essentially in the passenger compartment behind the Passenger side rear seat. Statistically the right rear quarter panel experinces the lease damage in any crash.

Do not believe what you are hearing about the RS4 Avant excuses for not bringing that car to the USA.

We replaced the '04 Phaeton with the '07 GTI. My wife was extremely bothered byt the high level of electrical integration that this conveyance employs. The electrical system was so complex that it would alert the driver of meaningless electrical glitches that would be insignificant in nature. Needless to say it was a strong contributing factor in trading up to the GTI. NOTE: I sometines do miss that Luxury ride!

Scott.

Passat W8 4Motion wagons with 6-speed manual are about as rare as they
come-
I know it's something like 300 cars imported or less.

My mechanic has a customer with one, went to CT to buy it, has the
sport
pkg. with the sweet 18" 2-pc. BBS wheels, no less.

Mechanical nightmare to service, that car.

Taka
