Ron,
No, I haven't checked it out. Between relays clicking, bad running, and now
a trans "fault" mode, I think the mice have had their way with the car, and
very well. Starting about six months ago, i found my factory leather binder
chewed off badly in one corner. About 2" of it and the manuals are gone as
well.
.
Anyhow, the car has been sitting since I left for Carlisle, as I have the
4000Q and Jetta to drive now. I moved it yesterday down below (5 acres) to
listen to the radio while I stripped one of the parts cars. The V8 is my
only car with a radio :( That's when I noticed the trans problem.
I think it's pretty bad, as the display flashes park, then all, then park,
then all. and so on. It does this till you put it in gear, at which time it
settles on all lit, and 3rd gear only forward opperation. I might pull the
knee bar today and look at the wiring there for starters. I also need to
look under the rain tray. However, when I start removing things, there is a
good chance nothing will get put back. Oh, and I'll just continue removing
stuff ;-) The track 200 is dying for a V8!!
