[V8] Trunk will not open

Dave, 

That vacuum pump operates two ways IME. When the "lock" operation is
engaged, it is a vacuum pump, however when the "unlock" operation is
engaged, it is a compressor. The actuators are like a cam, once in one
position (or the other) they just stay there. So the pump needs to
either push the actuator up or suck it down.

Which leads me to think it might be worth the try, to lock the doors,
then unlock them and see if it doesn't push the actuator back into the
correct postion. (maybe it got out of sync?)
