[V8] Trunk will not open

Drilling a lock is always the last recourse for sure ...

On my old winter car 87 /5000 cd qt the door handles keep breaking ,
until I started every fall to lubricate the inner mechanism of the door
handle ( never a problem now ) . The only problem with replacing
door/locks is you run into key problems ... What I have done with the
5000 is take out all the small spring loaded Pins inside the tumbler (
see image below ) I know what ya thinking ... Oh no someone could steal
your car because they could use any key to open the door of my 20 year
old car ...correct . But remember locks are for honest people :-)

Close, you actually have to do the opposite, hit hose at the pump with
some positive air pressure and the lock will pop open.

Hit any key to continue, or any other key to quit.
