[V8] Starter Question

IF, IF the problem is the bendix, then yes, a new starter will fix it.  IF
it is the 5% chance that this isn't the problem, then maby it will.  In
the 5% category it could be the follwing - Bad Solenoid(starter with a new
solenoid will fix this also), missing teeth on Ring gear (not likely
unless you are noticing drivability problems also).  There are others but
those are the most likely in my mind.  Tell the guy doing the work that it
is easiest to get that top bolt by removing the air box and using a 10mm
allen with your knees on the intake manifold (literally knealing on the
motor) and look down on the passengers side of the motor - the bolt head
is back much further than you would think it is(the bolt is like 10"
long).  The underside is easy as long as you remove the oil filter.
