[V8] oil level...oil blow by

I thought all V8s take 10 quarts to reach the full mark, but only 8.5 or
9 are necessary (and will read to the top of the lower orange plastic
part of the dippin' stick). Anything over that will be readily burnt
off, and therefore regarded as superfluous.
