Yup. I was puzzled at first because I wasn't expecting it. The glove
box itself is much more substantial as well because it has to work
better as a knee guard, so it needs a firm motion to close it... at
least mine does.
Other stuff I've noticed that's different on my 93 from my older ones
are the windshield wiper arms, and I think the functioning of the
interior lights relative to the key on/in/out, and the Sport mode for
the transmission doesn't lock out top gear, it just delays the shift
as with the other shifts. In my 90 Sport mode drops it down out of
4th as if you manually shifted it with the lever.
Also, they dip down of the passenger side outside mirror when you go
into reverse worked for a couple days then quit. I have an issue with
removing the ignition key too, sometimes I can't. I think it's
related to the shift interlock, because I pull it out of park and let
it roll a bit and then put it in park so it rolls into the parkstop
and then usually it'll release the key.
That happened the 1st time on the 2nd day I had the car and with no
other key to lock the doors I was sitting there for a few minutes
wondering just wtf I should do as I was not at home. :-)
