There was a very lengthy discussion of this on the Qlist a while back.
Basically if the coolant is safe for aluminum engines, use it. FWIW my
ole 5KS went to the great boneyard in the sky with the EVIL green $2.99 a
gallon on sale stuff flowing through it's cooling system for 20+ years
and 250k+ miles.
All three V8Q's, the 90Q and 200TQ have been running the evil green in
the cooling systems since before I bought them. With the green stuff for
14+ years now, V8Q #1 still has the original radiator, hoses and heater
core, no abnormal aluminum wear & tear, and the sky has not fallen AFAIK.
