[V8] Turbo's For Sale!

My take on this idea has always been that what the V8 needs the most
is better low end. Two small turbos would give that better than one
large one. Plus, with small turbos and very minimal boost, say no
more than 5-8 pounds, I would like to think that you would not have to
worry too much about the compression ratio, etc.

If you're thinking bigger than that, then we're on different pages,
but my gut feeling is to approach it conservatively... get the thing
set up with some known parts, beat on the engine as lightly as
possible, to prove the concept first.

Then start turning up the heat.

In the aircraft industry they have a concept that I can't remember the
word for, but basically they only turbo the motor up to the point at
which it is equalized or normalized to perform the same at altitude as
it does at sea-level.

When I moved to CO initially I lived at 8000 feet, that is all I
wanted because I knew well it ran at sea level and I just wanted back
that level of performance.

Since then I've moved to 6300 feet and have become more accustomed to
the performance over time but I would still only shoot for restoring
sea level performance, at least until I got bored with it.
