Kneale;
The hard pipe fuel lines on the UrS are 8mm; I imagine yours are the same.
This is close enough to 5/16" line as to make no difference (OK, OK, it's
0.002" larger). When I replaced the fuel lines on my '94 S4 I cut the old
pipes out leaving 6" at each end to retain the OEM connections and spliced
in 5/16" galvanized tubing using 5/16" compression fittings.
For the '97 S6, I've purchased some 5/16" Nylon 11 fuel line and will splice
it in using 5/16" nylon to metal compression fittings.

Subject: Fuel Line Replacement
I want to replace the fuel lines on my 200q20v. Already used the
high-pressure injection hose type patch. Now I want to do a "real"
replacement with a good hard line. I can't seem to find a source for
stainless or for the OEM "nonrust" types in metric sizes. Anyone done this?
Got sources? Suggestions?
