[V8] UFO screw

I've changed brake pads several times on UFO systems, and today, for the first time, I broke off the screw that locates the rotor trying to extract it. Got out some bits and a drill and drilled out the remaining screw, not quite centered, I guess, because after I ran a tap through the hole to clean out the remaining threads, there aren't enough for a replacement screw to grab and fix the rotor in position. So I put the wheel back on, having to take extra bother to get the wheel, the rotor and the hub lined up so I could turn the bolts in. My extra-long headless bolt I use instead of the plastic stud that was missing from my OEM toolkit didn't provide enough locating to keep the rotor from turning enough to prevent a wheel bolt to line up with the threads.

So I'm concerned about having to replace a wheel on the road if a tire problem developed, especially in the dark of night with traffic whizzing by.

  Any suggestions?
