Went in and did the driver's side today.  Much easier.  Except for 
dropping the lower washers down into the nether region.
The flange has pins on both side, ensuring distributor alignment in one 
spot.
Took a picture of the cap.  It looks scored, but maybe this is normal?  
Cap (and rotor) is only 3 months old, or so.
