I wish I knew. I have the same light in my 200 TQA. The pads have the
sensor, the wires seem OK, but I still have the light (and a "Brake
Light" when I step on the brakes). My understanding is this:

a) the circuit goes from ??? to the driver's side brake, over to the
passenger side brake, and back to ???, where I think is a connection at
the firewall and then to the instrument cluster. If any part of the
circuit (just a single wire) is broken, the warning light lights. The
break in the circuit is supposed to be due to the pad wearing through
the sensor (wire) in the pad, but as we know, it happens for other
reasons.

b) you should be able to remove the connection at the driver's side
brake pad (first in the series), and jump the appropriate pins. This
assumes the in-pad sensor (actually, just a wire) is at fault. I didn't
have luck with this.

c) if you can find the connection at the firewall ??? (the Bentley shows
a connection for the 200, but it doesn't show where), you should be able
to bypass the wiring to the brakes and disable the warning light.

d) I've got a $100 tone generator [1], which someday I may hook up to
the wiring in my 200, to trace the wire from the driver side sensor back
to it's source. Someday.

You can find similar ones at your local Home Depot and Lowes in the
telephone and network section.
