[V8] Front Brake Lines

Rear Brake hose part number for the 90 V8 is  8D0611775D.  Fronts for UFOs are 441611707.  The part number for the front hose on S4s with G60s is  4A0611707.  Those hoses are 20 mm longer (at 270 mm) than the UFO hoses.  Autohausaz lists the latter for under $12 each.  The "official" shorter UFO hoses are four times that.

I will check because I may still have a new pair in plastic. I ordered the wrong ones, and ended up keeping them (who knows why) and got braided ones. I think they are rears, but they may be fronts. Whats the part#. I'll check!

Well, It's been a long time since I have posted. As Ron W. knows my V8 has been sitting for quite some time, awaiting its rack replacement. Well, a friend and I finally dug into that task today (not a real good time). But we have made some headway, and now are awaiting some parts in order to start reassembling. I do have a question though: the front brake lines are cracked and I have started looking for replacements. Any other similiar model has front brake lines in the twelve dollar range, yet the ones for the V8 are forty six? Any reasoning behind the price variance? Is there a line from another model that might work, but maybe is a slightly different length? I am hoping someone else has researched this in the past. Thanks so much in advance!
