[V8] overheating again

... I'm a bit surprised to see that no one has posted on the fan clutch yet
... that would have certainly been one of my first suspects ... especially
given that the radiator & t-stat have been replaced. The belt driven fan is
what is supposed to be drawing air through the radiator when the car is in
traffic. The aux electric cooling fan is only a back up for this condition.
There was a time I had a brand new Wahler thermostat fail on me, but that
caused an overheat even when the car was going down the freeway ...
The cabin air temp may be related, but it may also not be ... and I would
suspect the latter. Could the vacuum line to the coolant valve have come
off? Since the recirc doors are on the same vacuum line, perhaps the vacuum
line has come off the actuator for the recirc door. Perhaps the blend doors
aren't directing much air to the heater core. Have you felt the temperature
of the coolant lines going to and from the heater core? If they seem to be
hot it is likely that the blend doors are the culprit for the lack of
interior heat, and if the lines appear cool try checking the vacuum to the
valve.

You need either to remove one of the screws or put a continuity tester on
both ends of that fuse because it can look good and still be broken.

sure the fuse at
driver's side fender under /in front of hydraulic reservoir is not
cracked/broken (metal flat piece under small cover secured by two
screws). Will prevent auxiliary fan from coming on with A/C on.
