[V8] Vag Diagnostics

I'm sure someone on the list has the secret of using a VAG-COM (Mine is actually the HEX-COM) on a V8.

I have the pigtail that I connected to the Supply and then you have the second diag connector.  I tried it on all 3 under the floor mat.  I just do not get any response from the controller on any of the three.  I did not try the Airbag Diag port.

I hear guys on the list checking codes all the time.  I'm past the counting the LED flashes.  I was always sure the Pigtail works on the Vag-com.  Does it still work with the HEX-com?

I appreciate your advice before I call Uwe at Ross Tech.
