This one specifically, don't know. Not in the archives, so here's a
repost from when I installed the GDI or GoDan. Looked exactly like this
one, and had some GM core number. As you can see by the date of the post
it wasn't yesterday, and the radiator is still working fine, no leaks,
and no squeaks. It might be worth asking the seller if they're NOS
GoDans, if they're NOS Modines they're worth thrice the price. For that
kind of money, considering that scrap copper and brass is $3 a pound,
it's worth risking if it's a GoDan or Modine. I'd pick one up, but I
already have 2 spares on the shelf. I also had one in V8Q #2 when it got
hit on the front, took out the fender and headlight and dented the
radiator, that was a few years ago, radiator is still dented, but works
just fine. There was one temp sender I had to extend the wire, or cut the
harness strap IIRC too (for 1990.) As always, YMMV.

Subject: V8Q Radiator.
I got around to putting in that radiator I posted about buying at
discountradiator.com for $199/free shipping. I had to take a whizzer to
the top part of the L-Bar on the radiator. The part of the radiator
that goes directly under the hood latch has to have this piece cut out or
folded back in order to get up under the latch. Take a look at yours and
you'll see what I mean. This was no big deal by any stretch, just
something you should keep in mind when putting in an after market
radiator. It looks like the "dimple" for the latch was something Audi
really didn't count on, as even the factory radiator looked like it was
an example of
"rolling" engineering.
