Dag,

Look at the oil senders on the right front of the block, just above the 
alternator. I chased a leak in exactly the places you describe, changed 
oil lines, large sender, etc., turned out to be the cheapest sender of 
the lot, $7 at local auto parts store. Leak fixed.

Clean the area, start the engine, watch.

The senders can be changed from the top, just remove the RH exhaust heat 
shield (2 10mm nuts) and you can get to it.
