[V8] Front End Noise

Hi All, when I turn to the left I'll get one ka-pinngg. Sounds like it's coming from the top of the strut. Doesn't matter if I'm going slow or fast. It's only one ping and not the clack clack clack of a bad CV joint. So my vote is for either a bad strut mount plate or a bad strut bearing. I guess my vote would be for the plate because it's easier to put in. The tie rods are in good condition. Have any of you dealt with this before? Thanks, William
