They used to keep these in a database. Called the dealer, give them the
Vin, and they'd give you the code...some would make you physically take
the car to them. If it's the Delta, why even bother, aside from the IC
display there's no compelling reason to keep this dinosaur. Midwest

800-562-5978 used to be the company that rebuilt the units for Audi, a
friend of mine in a local dealers parts dept gave me their info and they
rebuilt the Delta for around $50 at the time. This was about a decade
ago, so I don't know if they even exist anymore, but worth a try before
blowing a C-note for 2 minutes of dealer tech time.
