[V8] The perennial question returns: How much is a V8 worth?

Yes, yes, yes to all. Quite correct.

My personal preference for the V8 MIT wipers is that I have on occasion used
my V8's in major dark and major inclement weather. The wiper/washer system
for the headlights really works well when you need it the most. It was put
there because some Kraut engineer figured out that it would work better for
people to see in the severe dark when traveling at warp nine in a snow
storm. He was right.

And for those who think that an inspection station might not notice whether
or not the wipers were there, I can assure you that it MIGHT happen. WILL
it happen? I dunno. But I do know that the state is getting tighter and
tighter on inspections, and those inspections include rust through holes in
the body work, leaking ANYTHING, ANYWHERE, and the obvious stuff like red
lights on the dash that don't go out.

At any rate, the '94, IF it proves out to be as good as it seems to look,
would be well worth the effort to replace the wipers and motors.

This will be an interesting auction. I have been watching and waiting for a
while now, looking for the 'right' V8, whatever that might be. I wanted to
watch and see what was around, and now, I am officially in the "red zone".
You see, my attorney called today and announced that the easement issues
with my bankrupt neighbor have been resolved and my commercial building sale
will go through either Friday or Monday.

I am now motivated and will be flush in a short while. Dangerous territory
for me, and in the old days, I would not salivating. But now I am married,
and my wife has some things that she wants...a new house in a new town for
openers.

Incidentally, since we are pushing thoughts around here, has anyone else
seen the nice looking, fairly high mileage 20-Valve Avant in Wisconsin (Or
is it Minnesota?)? Three sets of wheels.....?
