[V8] optional wheel & tire sizes

Hi, I'm running Stock 17 inch Audi alloys off of a newer A8 with 255/50R17
Continental Contitouringtech tires. I only see about 1/2 mph difference
between the speedo and my GPS. The ride is firmer, and it handles very
nicely. I'm in Grand Junction, CO, granted I'm not at the same altitude, but
it does very well in the snow with no seasonal tire change. Hope that helps.

Nick,

You and Ed should get together.  He's in the Rocky Mountains, as  
well.  Can't be too far away :-)

I have no experience with 18's, as they would be worthless (bent/ 
cracked) in no time with Southeastern Michigan's pothole-laden roads...
