I know that 18x10 on a 265/35 tire fits no problem.
I have run many different rim/tire combo's over the
years on my V8's sans any type of spacer or adaptor.
I've run 17x8 OZ Sup's mit 255/40's...no problems.
I run 18x8.5 LM's mit 255/35's on my severley lowered
5sp. The clearance I get @ the rear arch (were the
arch is incorporated into the door) is very little.
I's like to go to a 40 instead of a 35 cause the roads
out here are horrible & I'de like a litle more
sidewall!!! But I think that it would rub with how I
have the suspension set. I could raise the car up a
bit to see if I could get any more clearance. But
I have a set of 16x8 Urs4 fuchs for dedicated Summer
rims. & I'll only take out the LM's for shows
ect.......so figureing out 18" tires @ this moment
isn't a concern.
But......you know I've seen a guy fit 18x11 Corvette
rims on a V8....but that V8 isn't intended for the
street ;-)
