[V8] Well dang, it can't be the fuel pump

But it is . . .


Finally got to troubleshoot the pearl lawn ornament, and remember the 
fuel pump I put in back in October of 07? Well, it is stuck . . .


Brand new Bosch pump in the yellow box, $250 worth, very reputable 
vendor - pump lasted all of four months.


Removed it, put it in a cup of fuel (not supposed to run these dry) 
connected leads, retired to a safe distance, applied power - hum but no 
squirt. Phooey.


At least I know what's wrong, and it isn't a real tough fix. I'm gonna 
install the next one with zippers and velcro so I can R&R it in 30 
seconds. I'm getting too good at Audi fuel pump replacements.
