I give up. After seemingly years of whinnying and bashing of anything
without "updated" climate control, keyless entry, bigger engine, blah
blah blah, Roger buys a FleaBay 1990 sight unseen. If I had even
suspected Roger would settle for such a "lesser" 1990 V8Q, with all due
modesty, V8Q #1 with 100k (documented) miles is in better shape than that
one, plus has the much better looking IMHO grey leather interior with
color matched steering wheel and plastic doo-hickeys.

Plus, anywhere near that price I would have thrown in a silver V8Q with
90k miles some big ass wheels and blown transmission (Ericson rebuild
ooops box), AND a running Pearl/black V8Q with 180k on the clock with
about 3k on a fully rebuilt transmission.

Oh Well.....

Roger, just pulling your chain. ;-) Had to vent a bit after biting my
tongue while reading all these posts on 4.2's, stick shifts, updated
Mickey Mouse this and that vs. the '90. Congrats on the new to you car,
and thanks for giving the rest of us even more ammunition on those
occasions when we have to prove what our almost 2 decade old cars are
REALLY worth.
