[V8] Water pump leaking

About 200 miles since I did a full T-belt job including water pump. I started

hearing a noise from the water pump area. Kind of a grinding, Kind of turkey 

gobbelish. I took off the right timing cover and there is a small amount of 

coolant appearing from directly under the pump bearing. The shock measurement 

is still in spec. The water pump literature states that the sealing element 

will only set after approx. 3 operating hours.??? But that noise is not 

right. When the car is cold the sound is not as noticeable but after warm up 

becomes quite audible. Anybody seen this happen before?
