[V8] Front axle

It's been my understanding Audi has no new axles for these cars. Rebuilders with good reputations reportedly are out of stock too.

You can get both the inner and outer boot kits, which include the new boot, grease, clamps and retainer clips, for something like $17 and $15, respectively, from Autohausaz. I'd go for the boots if the joints aren't clicking. I wouldn't drive it any more until the boots are replaced either.

I was hearing a noise the other day and took the V8 to
the shop for a look see. We noticed immediately that
both passenger side front CV boots were leaking.

The shop owner said that they were available from the
factory only. I was wondering if this is true or if
there is an aftermarket provider ?

Could someone let me know where I might get a
replacement front passenger axle with all hardware.

Thanks,
