Sorry for the double post...but I think I forgot to CC Greg as well as you Lanier.
But I'd check the carbon canister valve.
Greg, what gasket kit did you order? & as far as the ps "x" plug o-ring.... you can get a rebuild kit from any of the vendors...Bruce, Chris @ force5, ect. Prolly run you no more than $10 for the seal kit.
As far as your t-belt. The last time it was replaced was 40K ago? Or you feel the need to replace it every 40k?
& just cause the belt shows no signs of cracking doesn't mean anything. What is the condition of the belt....does it look glazed over/shinny on the smooth part of the belt? How's the tension of the belt?
If you have any doubt @ all it should be replaced. I can show you some pics of what a busted t-belt does to a V8 motor ;-)
& when you do, do the belt I recomend doing the germanautoconnection 60k service
