The wiring mod I did is to simply bypass the relay altogether. I jumpered
the power from the supply to the feed circuit. Can't remember what the
terminals I did it with, but I can look and take pics if anyone wants. I can
also look at the schematics if need be.
However, using two relays for the low beam circuit or bending pin "K" over
are just as good, IMHO. I didn't know about the two relay thing, or that's
probably what I would have done. It would have made one other thing easier.
That is, my relays sit on the passenger side in a plastic bos, and I have a
wire that runs all the way across in front, to the drivers headlight. So,
whenever I have to remove the front end (quite often, it seems), I have to
cut all the little zip ties for the wire. There are probably 10.
