You'll need to clear the airbag code. You'll need a VAG... or the like to clear the airbag code.

Those manuals are pretty hard to find. The original manuals pop up from time to time on Audifans. & be warry of buying them off e-bay. The guy who sells them sells copies without the wirewing manual. There are 4 hard cover 3 ringed volumes.... & I have the extra updated wireing manual as well.

For the ABS problem? If so.....
there is a fuse in the ABS relay itself. You'll find the relay in the pass side foot well. Just pull out the mat & you'll see a Black plastic cover covering the relays. There should be a few phillips screws holding the cover. Once that cover is removed it's in the top row.... #2. Will have a Red 10amp fuse. How are your brakes? do they make any funny noises? Could be a bad ABS sensor if so.

Were are you? obviousley on the West Coast.... but were?

You mentioned it was a grinding noise while excellerating below, & now you say it sounds like an exhaust leak.
I realy can not comment since I can not hear it. Any way you can get a small vid clip??

Now I'm not sure on how to word this.... but for one the V8 manuals are a VERY rare car! Bout 75'ish were sent. Only 14'ish in 90. So that car being a 90 is & SHOULD BE SPECIAL to some!
In the long run it would be you'r decission obviousley... but I'm just saying I would rather not see a car like that be in the wrong hands.
I had... & funny story..... but,
Bill's car that I posted the other day & the one I had (all so a true 90 v8 5sp) was bought @ the same dealer. Same color combo as well... Titan Grey on Platnum Grey sport interior.
To be honest if I had $3,500 sitting around I would buy it myself. But I have to many V8's all ready. But that would make 3 5spd's in DER stable.
So I would all so say that if you were to buy a 5sp V8 Bill's would be the one! It's a VERY resonable price, & it's rareity is uncomromised. You'd be the New guy with a TRUE V8 5sp :-)
& if you need parts get in touch with me. I've got 3 rooms full of V8 parts & I'm going to be parting another V8 next week.
cause my 5sp will be finally be finished :-)..... a post is coming on that listers.
