Yes, flush well. Most techs use dawn and water after draining and flushing 
once with clean water. Then, fill with conventional coolant.

Here's the procedure:
1. Drain Dexcool
2. Fill vehicle with water. Run long enough to get to operating temp.
3. drain and fill with water and a little (couple tablelpoons) of dawn dish 
soap.
4. flush twice more with clean water.
5. Fill with coolant.

The same procedure can be used with any vehicle that's had Dex-cool in it, 
including VAG cars.

Hopefully it's not done any damage already.
