[V8] Engine rebuild options

Although my German is Very bad, I did pick out the phrase "

Cylinder housing is cast in aluminium alloy and cylinders receives a special treatment to show the hard silicon crystals as tread wear for pistons and pistons rings."

Sounds ALOT like Alusil.

Also I've seen both the Nikasil coating on BMW V8 engines and the alusil on the 4.2 (both 32v and 40V) and the alusil has a much duller finish than the nikasil. Granted this was just a visual look, but no where have I seen that the 4.2 engine cylinders are treated with Nikasil.
