[V8] beautiful

First of all you don't have to unsubscribe just cause you don't have a v8 - I mostly watch, but I stayed subscribed when I was v8-less about 3 years ago.  Anyway, about your tranny problem - the v8 I have now I bought with the same issue as yours - exactly.  I towed it to WV from Michigan - I started to troubleshoot the problem and realized that this tranny had a huge leak, so I replaced it with a known good unit.  I did however lean toward the fact that the tranny had a bad electrical component, seeing that it would go in reverse but no forward gears - but I cannot confirm it - I was thinking a solenoid went bad.  I know it wasn't the linkage, and it wasn't a slipping tranny cause the fluid looked good and there wasn't any particles in the pan.  I guess it could be a blown seal on the forward clutch pack, but I'm not sure.  Good luck.
