[V8] planning a new stereo upgrade

Hello dear V8 owners
I've been away from the forums for some time, but I still drive the v8
everyday.
It's running very well, but it does have some oil leaks which can get
smelly when the car is hot.
I was thinking of getting on with the times and install a Bluetooth car
deck for my phone. As far as I know the speakers are amplified, so do I
have to go with new speakers too?
Anyone here that has done the job? Any tips and suggestions are great.
I did one years ago on a 5000 .
