[V8] planning a new stereo upgrade

I have done several installs on powered bose speaker audi's. IMO,
disconecting the bose deck from the bose speakers makes the system sound
even worse then it did from the factory. Granted, my tastes are fairly
"high end". The best sounding system I have found using bose speakers is to
bypass the bose amps, use your aftermarket deck and an aftermarket amp. I
still don't care for this set up. I junked the whole damn thing, ran new
wires and seperates in the front and the rear.

Not necessary but sure does yield a fine sounding system. BTW, in the
fronts, I used the factory bose boxes and installed my boston 4" speakers in
them.
