A big +1 to that idea!? I replaced the lines on the back of the motor when I started to smell fuel.? Working with my mechanic we found very fine mist was leaking from one of them under hard throttle.? Better safe than sorry!!!

I suspect I lost my '91 TQA #2 to a ruptured/slpit fuel hose. I was on the highway, and by the time I could pull over and park it, it was fully engulfed. After the fire department hosed it down, inside and out, there wasn't much left to salvage. -- Kent McLean '99 A4 Avant '91 200 20V Avant #3 '94 100 Avant, sold '91 200 20V Avant #2, up in smoke #2 '91 200 20V Avant #1, recycled '89 200 10V sedan, up in smoke _______________________________________________ Audifans V8 mailing list Send posts to: mailto:V8 at audifans.com Manage your list connection: http://www.audifans.com/mailman/listinfo/v8 You can help keep the audifans site running by shopping at http://audifans.com/shop/
