[V8] Snow Adventures...and trouble

Yeah, we've had a bunch, too, and even a couple of days past the date that chains were required in the Portland (OR) metro area, I didn't need them on the V8. I did manage to get stuck once for about 30 minutes on a side street that hadn't had anyone drive over it yet. I managed to get it out without any other assistance, though, so hooray for the V8. The whole thing disappointed me a bit, though because two people drove by and offered to help me get unstuck, for $10 and $15, respectively.
I realize there's frequently an idiot tax to pay for doing stupid things like trying to drive down an un-plowed street, but I was brought up with the idea that if you're going to help someone out, you just do it, not try and extort a little bit of cash from them. I told them both to scram, and put my faith in the V8, and it didn't let me down. I love these cars.
