[V8] Emergency?

I just spent an hour with the wrench discussing the process of working on
our aging cars.  Michele's 100CS Avant is no real issue provided I can find
a back light switch in the used market.  I am on the hunt and the prognosis
is good.

But the V8 has some serious issues.  I need to replace the front and rear
rotors, pads and the front calipers.  No problem with anything until we
tried to locate front calipers.  So far they appear to be unavailable from
any of the normal sources: they are no longer available from Audi.

Any thoughts?  I just replaced the tires, which makes me VERY grumpy if I
can no longer use 15" wheels.  

Naturally, I went to BIRA to check on what they offer if worst comes to
worst, and I found that BIRA is no longer taking members.  Does anyone have
any idea what that means?  It is beginning to suspiciously look like I will
have to rebuild the entire front end of the car to accommodate inferior
brakes, which really makes me grumpy.  I do NOT want to do that, and would
prefer to buy new calipers for the new UFO rotors....
