If your tax refund is enough to get one of these...you don't need it to
buy one. ;-)
 
This is fairly common of new models that are "hot."  When the Miata came
out, there were dealers charging $10k or more over sticker, when the
Dodge Ram came out with the new "Mack" front end they were going for
sticker +$$.  A friend of mine put down a deposit and got in line for one
of Mercyless Benz's limited production ubber cars, he ended up selling
his allocation space for $20k.
Most of the time it's a complete and total sucker bet to pay above
sticker, the uniqueness only lasts until the next newest and greatest
comes out, or the factory gears up and every other driveway in Greenwich,
CT has one in it.
