ok, it's a new year and I've
been sick so I've had time to do Roger-style ponderings...? Hopefully
this won't become a long email that violates his copyright ;)? I've got
this wonderful V8 that needs a few things (since it's a V8 it would
have to) and I have collected the parts of 2 other cars to cover
anything it could ever need.? Now, fearing my long tolerant wife's
growing intolerance over being unable to fit the trash can in the garage,
let alone the kids things, bikes, etc... I've finally decided to
officially sell it all off.? It's my third, and certainly not final,
Audi.? But, combining my 3 kids time needs, my hyperactive homeowners'
association, my overstuffed garage and understuffed wallet, I need to
make some room.

I've got enough spares to build another car, excluding the engine...
This means 4 door panels, 2 fenders (current fenders show some bottom bubbling so I have these clean ones to swap), 1 trunk, spare wheel well, glass (I think 5 windows), transmission,
stereo components, euro lights, etc... all piled high in the garage.?
The car itself was running fine when the throttle started to stick.? I
pulled it off the road and it took 18 months, yes 18 months, for me to
finally get the time to pull the throttle body and get it all happy
(see the new KB writeup).? This inability to find the time and clearance to get to the work is a big part of the reason I need to sell it.? It should NOT be allowed to sit and rot, it should be driving along at ludicrous speeds while warming 4 butts to their own preferred temperatures, playing pleasing music and crushing mere cars out of it's path.? During that sitting time the brakes seized.?
I got the fronts sorted out and the backs are still dragging so they
need seeing to (probably just a matter of pulling the wheels, but I haven't had time, again...).? I can go into all the details on the car with an
interested person, obviously the whole list isn't interested (but they
should be ;)...? Timing belt and lots of other things are done.? 3
owners, carfax is clean (it actually showed the 2 wholesalers as
owners).? Originally a Brookline, MA car.? I've had it for 5+ years.? Other than the throttle sticking it was a fine, daily driver.

4 volume factory manuals, wiring diagrams, lotsa stuff in the piles.?
all 4 suspension sections with brake assemblies mounted, 2 cats, A/C system, LOTS of relays, switches, brain boxes.? '91 tranny with axles and TCU.? cd changer, steering wheel with bag, hoses, pumps, bomb, turn signals, tanks, horns, switches, lots of stuff... has A4 16" rims with Eagle HPs and a set of aeros with Blizzaks (1 winter).

Got a truck?? Bring it over, and clear it all out of here and my wife will love you (and more importantly me) a lot :)

Open to your cash version of reasonable offers...? please reply off the list though so that we don't frazzle others with the details.

John
PS - in case you don't know - the car is located in Baltimore, MD
PPS - http://www.myv8q.com/Wheels/A4-16-big.jpg is the car from a couple years ago when Jeremy was building his wheel database.
PPPS - I'll get a full listing up on the marketplace if no one on the list is interested, worst case it all gets eBayed... probably bring more money but a lot more hassle and time than I would like...
