[V8] Euro what?

Hey Peeps
 
I think I'm missing the point over euro headlights.. Being an uneducated brit I seemed to have missed the apparent merits of having Eurolights. I remeber when I had my 200q on the road, people wanted Euro units.
What is the difference?
I've always thought that Audi lights have been terrible at best.. are you really saying that US versions are even worse?
On the odd occasion that V8s or 200 (5000) come up for sale here in the UK they never fetch more than £500. 
Would it be worth me buying these cars and sending the headlamps to you guys?
Might even do a swop for a can of your Seafoam which I can get over here, or a working TCU (the one which ends with an "M" prefix )
 
Just as an afterthought.. how many miles do you get out of a tank of gas?
