That's why the red sport q that we've all seen pics of at one time or another has that triangle of black tape covering a portion of the lens. LHD lights on RHD roads...

DOT specs were pathetic light wise, there were lawsuits, and fines. A
few large companies in the US were caught per$uading more than normal to
set the standards. US DOT spec Audi lights are pathetically bad for our
era cars.
Sorry to rain on your parade, but UK RHD lights are worthless in the US,
UK headlights are specifically designed for Right Hand Drive cars, with
the beam having a low and to the left pattern (to keep from blinding
oncoming traffic and illuminating traffic signs and reflectors.) In
countries like the US which have Left Hand Drive cars and traffic on the
other side of the road, the pattern is biased towards the right side. In
the US you want import a Right Hand Drive vehicle, you must replace the
left bias UK lights with right side bias lights before the car can be
legally federalized. Went through this with the Mini shown on my web
page.
The mileage question is a trick one, we don't have many pumps that
dispense Imperial Gallons. ;-) There was a thread a while back, the V8Q
is anything but economical in the mileage department.
The Seafoam question has come up on a motorcycle list I'm on, the UK
listers were using a Wurth product sold over there that did the same
thing. I searched for the post, but it's a web based BB and got way too
many threads, if I find the name I'll e-mail it to you.
