[V8] V8 very sick

Dave is on the mark here. You can "test" the oxygen sensor by
unplugging it and seeing how it runs/drives after that. Although, if
it's been a while since it was replaced, it probably should be
replaced regardless.
The OXS is anywhere from about 40 bux if you buy a Bosch generic that
requires wire splicing or up to about 150 if you buy the "right" one
for the car, which only means it comes with the right connector on the
end of the wires and is plug-n-play.
FPR is about 60-70 bux and takes about 10-15 minutes to replace.
I'd go after the OXS first. There are 3 wires, 2 for the heater, one
for the actual signal to the ECU. You only need to unplug the one
signal wire. If that seems to resolve the issue, you can drive with
it unplugged without damaging the engine. Fuel economy won't be
optimal and the environment will suffer marginally, but you'll be able
to get around with some confidence.
If you're shopping online, I have good luck and satisfaction with
autohausaz.com.
